Baby #2's Nursery

As I mentioned yesterday, the nursery is complete!  Well, minus 2 items... letters that spell out baby's name will likely go above the dresser and we also need the baby!!  There was a little mix up with the letters so those may take a bit longer, but I'm calling the nursery done for now.  I'm thrilled with how it turned out.  I gave A a few theme options to choose from and he chose outer space.  I love it!  And now that it's done, I can't imagine any other theme being as perfect.

W's old crib; now baby's.  Nani made the multi-colored blanket.



The reading/feeding nook.  I had intentions to replace the book basket with a little table and move the book basket elsewhere, but I haven't found a table I like.


I adore this mobile.  Love Etsy!




You can't tell, but the lamp shade actually has constellations on it.  The changing pad cover was another Etsy purchase.

    Nursery looks GREAT! I have 3 boys, my sister has 3 girls, approximately same ages. For my adorable youngest niece (she's 15 now) birthday present, I gave her a super cool mobile AGES ago (I'd say 8 or so years ago) that STILL hangs in her room and she STILL loves it! She's such a doll - although I think she does like the mobile, I also think she wanted to make me happy. I am proud and lucky to say that she loves her Te Te, me, her aunt. Anyhoo, I got the mobile on Etsy - LOVE Etsy too. Take good care of yourself during the countdown!

      Thank you! I LOVE that your niece still has the mobile you gave her! What a great gift! I was just looking at the mobile from W's nursery. It had alligators on it (also an Etsy purchase). It may never be used again, but I don't think I can ever part with it. :)

    C- telling you about my niece's mobile prompted me to see if they were still selling them on Etsy. Yup, they are. Not surprised.
